Founded in 2023 by CEO Kim Dong-wan, Jumidang is a leading 'Flavor-tech' company that designs liquor and beverage recipes using generative AI technology combining Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLM).

Their core competitiveness lies in the AI foundation model 'Alchemy'. Through chromatography equipment, the chemical components of over 1,500 types of liquor were extracted, and the AI was trained with 22,000 flavor analysis data points and 200 million cases of recipe feedback. Through this, when a user enters the desired taste and aroma in a sentence, such as "Make the sourness of the yuzu not too sharp, and the alcohol content around 8 degrees," it derives the optimal customized recipe that has never existed in the world in just 1 minute.

This drastically compressed the product development period, which previously took at least 3 months to a year depending on the senses of experts in the traditional brewing industry. Furthermore, it is leading the AI Transformation (AX) of the brewing industry by increasing the reproducibility—where the initially designed taste is identically realized in the actual finished product—from the previous 35% to 93%.

The business model is also solid. Currently, it supplies customized liquor via OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to 12 franchises and about 400 stores nationwide, and is providing AI solutions by partnering with 45 breweries. According to Jumidang's income statement, revenue jumped from approximately 195 million KRW in 2023 to about 2.17 billion KRW in 2024, and reached approximately 17.28 billion KRW in 2025, achieving unbelievable exponential growth every year (an increase of about 695% year-on-year in 2025).

It did not stop at mere external growth but also perfectly solidified its inner strength. In pace with revenue growth, net income recorded 7.64 million KRW in 2023 and 138 million KRW in 2024, followed by an explosive increase to 1.12 billion KRW in 2025, significantly expanding the surplus and proving substantial growth. Thanks to successful investment attraction and improved operating cash flows, cash and cash equivalents also reached approximately 5.05 billion KRW, boasting overwhelming financial soundness.

What the investment industry pays the most attention to is the fact that despite having sufficient internal cash reserves, Jumidang is aggressively seeking additional funding within a short period of time. Previously in December 2025, Jumidang raised 5.5 billion KRW in funds from Albatross Investment, We Ventures, and others, spearheaded by its unrivaled AI technology.

The move to conduct another round of investment attraction in just a few months, despite having sufficient cash reserves, is interpreted as an expression of confidence judged internally that Jumidang can strongly sustain its current explosive 'J-curve' growth in the future.

Moving forward, Jumidang is painting a grand vision to expand the scope of AI application beyond the liquor market to the perfume and beauty industries, and ultimately leap forward as the foundational technology that implements the sense of taste and smell for humanoid robots.
